MoMA PS1 is an institution of modern art and is affiliated with it world famous art museum The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in Manhattan.
Jody Graf, Associate Curator at MoMA PS1, says:
- I was immediately struck by Inuuteq's pictures when I first saw them several years ago. They are subtle and evocative, but know following the details of everyday life, they also talk about the impact of colonialism, geopolitical pressure and climate change. His works had never been shown in New York City before this exhibition, and I believe his perspective is essential and will resonate with our audience.
