Mads Reimer Andersen, president of Lions Club Nuuk, has presented a donation of 100,000 kroner for the renovation of the animal clinic in Nuuk.
- Nuummi Uumasut and Donnas Dyreklinik play an important role in animal welfare in Nuuk. It is a key area for us at Lions Club Nuuk to support initiatives that benefit both animals, animal owners and the local community as a whole. At the same time, one of Lions Club Nuuk's key issues is to support initiatives that combat loneliness. Animals play a crucial role here. The new premises are an important step in the right direction, says Mads Reimer Andersen, president of Lions Club Nuuk.
This is of course a great pleasure for the Nuummi Uumasut Association, which is behind the operation and development of Donna's Veterinary Clinic and has worked for many years to ensure that Nuuk has access to veterinary care and proper treatment facilities.
- The support from the Lions Club Nuuk means a lot to us. The renovation of the new premises is a major project, and contributions like this are absolutely crucial for us to be able to complete it and create a better environment for both animals and staff, says Tom Amtoft, chairman of the Nuummi Uumasut Association.
