On Thursday afternoon at 5:17 p.m., the police received a report of a fire at Atuarfik Samuel Kleinschmidt in Nuuk.

Police and the fire department responded to the incident, and the Chief of Police said that the fire had started in the school's gymnasium.
- It is a fire that cannot start on its own, so we have investigated the case as an arson attack. In this connection, we have brought some very young children into the case, says Poul Kreutzmann.
The police's preliminary investigations indicate that some children under the age of 15 were involved and caused the fire.
The social services and the children's guardians have been informed, and the police are still investigating the case, says the Chief of Police.
Witnesses to assault sought
On Friday night at 01:17, the police also received a report of an assault committed against a 15-year-old boy in Nuuk.
According to the report, the boy was assaulted by three to four boys of the same age, and the assault took place at Lake Eqalugalinnguit.
The perpetrators are said to have been wearing black or dark clothing, and the chief of police says that any witnesses are asked to contact the police.

Threatening man in village
During the night, the police also handled an incident in the village of Attu.
A report came from here about a man who threatened with a rifle.
Poul Kreutzmann says that the police sent officers from Aasiaat to handle the situation.
The police conducted investigations at the scene, but those involved in the incident were heavily intoxicated, and the investigations have not yet led to anything.
