On Tuesday morning, the Greenland Police Chief, Jørgen Madsen, issued a wanted notice in connection with a traffic accident.
He says that the police received a report of a traffic accident in the Nuuk district of Nuussuaq last night at 01:07.
When the police arrived at the scene of the accident, there were no people in or around the crashed vehicle.
- If anyone saw the accident or saw someone flee, we would very much like to hear from them, as we would like to get in touch with the driver of the vehicle, says Jørgen Madsen.
This is a solo accident, where according to the police the car has driven into a large cable drum, and the latest report is that the vehicle is still at the scene.
