On Saturday at 12:52, a traffic accident occurred in Nuuk at the traffic lights on H.J. Rinksvej. Two cars collided head-on.
This is according to the head of the Greenland Police, Karsen Højrup Kristensen.
The two cars came from opposite directions and drove into the intersection, just as the light was about to change, and both thought they could make it across, after which they crashed.

There was some unrest at the intersection as both cars had to be removed by a flatbed truck, but they are now gone.
